Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

1. Scope

This policy explains how Unvelo collects, uses, shares, and protects information across all of our services: our marketing website (unvelo.io), our web dashboard (app.unvelo.io), our application programming interfaces (APIs), and our Chrome browser extension. By using any of these, you agree to the practices described here. Where a practice applies only to a specific service, we say so.

2. Who We Are

Unvelo is a software product for licensed U.S. real estate agents, operated by Unvelo (“Unvelo,” “we,” “us”), based in Australia at Level 13, 477 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000. Because we operate from Australia and serve users in the United States, your information is processed internationally — see “International Data Transfers” below. For any privacy question or request, contact ale@unvelo.io.

3. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Unvelo, we may collect:

  • Account & contact data: name, email address, and authentication credentials and session tokens used to sign you in.
  • Professional verification data: your real estate license number, the state/jurisdiction it was issued in, and the result of verifying it.
  • Waitlist & application data: market location, years of experience, social media platforms and handles, posting frequency, scorecard answers and scores, and free-text responses you submit.
  • Listing & property data (extension): the address and listing details (price, beds, baths, square footage, days on market) and the page URL of real-estate listings you view while the extension is active.
  • Saved content you create:properties you save, tags, notes, drafts, “memories,” and writing-style samples used to personalize generated text.
  • AI prompts & context: the property context and instructions sent to our AI provider to generate analysis and draft messages.
  • Payment & subscription data: records of deposits and subscriptions. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Attribution data: referral codes, referrer URLs, and UTM campaign parameters.
  • Technical & usage data: browser and device information, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages viewed, and product analytics.
  • Email engagement data: delivery, opens, clicks, and unsubscribe status for emails we send.

4. Sources of Information

We collect information directly from you (when you sign up, apply, create an account, or use the product), automatically from your device and browser (analytics and technical data), from the extension as it reads listing pages you visit, and from our service providers (for example, license-verification and property-data results, and payment confirmations).

5. How and Why We Use Information

We process information to:

  • create and operate your account and authenticate you;
  • verify your real estate license and eligibility for the product and founding programs;
  • generate listing analysis, recommendations, and draft messages using AI;
  • save and sync the properties, notes, and drafts you create;
  • process deposits and subscription payments;
  • send transactional messages (such as your waitlist position and account notices) and — only where you have opted in — marketing and product-update emails;
  • measure usage, improve the product, prevent abuse, and secure our systems; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

6. The Chrome Extension and Listing-Page Data

The Unvelo extension runs on supported real-estate listing sites (such as Zillow, Redfin, and Realtor.com). When active on a listing page, it reads the public listing details on that page — the property address, listing facts, and the page URL — and sends them to our backend to produce your analysis and drafts. The extension stores your sign-in token locally in your browser to keep you logged in. It does not read your passwords or form entries on other sites, and it only operates on the listing sites it is permitted to access. Some of this data (such as browsing activity and page content) is treated as sensitive under browser store policies; we collect it only to provide the features you request and do not sell it.

7. AI Processing and Generated Content

To generate seller-angle analysis, recommended next steps, and draft outreach messages, we send the relevant property context and your instructions to our AI provider (OpenAI). We instruct the model to follow Fair Housing requirements. Generated text is a starting point that you should review before use; you are responsible for the messages you send. We do not use this data to train our own models, and our AI provider processes it under its own enterprise terms.

8. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf to run Unvelo. Each receives only what it needs for its function:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage (core user and product data).
  • Resend — sending and managing email and unsubscribe handling.
  • Stripe — payment and subscription processing.
  • OpenAI — AI generation of analysis and drafts.
  • Professional property-data provider — property valuation and market data (we send property addresses to retrieve estimates).
  • SourceRE / ARELLO — real estate license verification (we send license number and state).
  • Slack — internal notifications for manual license-verification review.
  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring.
  • Vercel — website and dashboard hosting and analytics.
  • Cloudflare — hosting our integration (MCP) endpoint.
  • Render — hosting our backend API.

We may also disclose information to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect our rights, users, and systems, and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Sharing data with the processors above to operate the service is not a sale.

9. Payments

Deposits and subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and handles your card details directly under its own privacy policy; we receive confirmation and limited records (such as your email, amount, and payment status) but not your full card number.

10. Analytics, Cookies, and Local Storage

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions — keeping you signed in to the dashboard and admin area — and we use Vercel Analytics to understand site usage. The Chrome extension uses your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Depending on your browser and the do-not-track or global privacy signals you send, some of these can be limited, though essential cookies are needed for the service to work.

11. Marketing Emails

We send transactional emails (such as your waitlist position and account notices) as a necessary part of the service. We send marketing and product-update emails only where you have opted in, and you can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any such email or the one-click unsubscribe in your mail client. We honor opt-out requests promptly.

12. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account or waitlist entry is active and as long as needed for the purposes in this policy — to provide the service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see your rights below).

13. Security

We protect information using technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest provided by our infrastructure vendors, access controls, and limiting who can access personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond to incidents appropriately.

14. Your Privacy Rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and you can opt out of marketing emails. Residents of U.S. states with privacy laws (such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others) may have additional rights, including to know the categories of personal information we collect, to request access and deletion, to correct inaccuracies, and to opt out of sale or targeted advertising — which we do not engage in. California treats categories such as browsing history and inferences as personal information. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email ale@unvelo.io. To protect your privacy, we will verify your request — typically by confirming control of the email address associated with your account — before acting on it. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

15. Children’s Privacy

Unvelo is a professional tool intended for adult, licensed real estate agents. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

16. International Data Transfers

Unvelo is operated from Australia and uses service providers located in the United States and elsewhere. When you use Unvelo, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your own, whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. We take steps to protect your information consistent with this policy wherever it is processed.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice in the product or on our website.
